Good to know

Wake up to the serene beauty of your private pond. Step out onto the deck of this brand-new 2026 A-frame tiny house as the first golden light kisses the water. Breathe in the crisp mountain air while deer — who visit like clockwork every afternoon around 7 — graze gently along the pond’s edge. Turtles bask lazily on the bank as the woods come alive with birdsong. Just 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains and everything that makes Asheville magical, this is more than a stay — it’s a heartfelt escape where nature feels like family. Your cozy A-frame retreat
Built in 2026 and finished with care and attention to every detail, this modern A-frame wraps you in comfort and holds up to 5 guests across two bedrooms and a loft. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors fill the open-plan living area with warm natural light and frame the pond like a living painting you’ll never tire of. Slide them open and step onto the front deck — your personal front-row seat for morning coffee, sunset drinks with the deer, quiet conversations, or simply soaking in the peace that slows your soul. • 🛏️ Main-level queen bedroom — perfect for restful nights • 🛏️ Bunk room with 3 twin beds (ideal for kids, friends, or family adventures) • 🪜 Loft play & chill space (ladder access — kids love it) • 🚿 Full bathroom with refreshing rain-style showerhead • 🍳 Well-equipped kitchen: 2-burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, full-size fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of cookware • 🐾 Pets welcome — they’ll adore morning walks along the pond path • 🔌 EV charger plug available next to the driveway BRING YOUR MOBILE CHARGER (see photos for details) I do have a Tesla mobile charger that I can loan on request. The outdoor experience
This private pond is yours and yours alone — a serene sanctuary where wildlife feels safe and welcome. Watch the deer arrive daily around 7 p.m., turtles sunning themselves, and families of wild turkeys with their adorable fluffy babies (poults) strutting through the woods. The surrounding woods hum with mountain laurel, birdsong, and the gentle night sounds that remind you what real quiet feels like. Occasionally, you might even catch a glimpse of a mama bear and her four cubs visiting the pond — a truly special (and respectful) moment in the mountains. No shared spaces, no neighbors in sight — just you, the ones you love, and nature putting on her daily show. Explore or retreat — the choice is yours • 20 minutes to downtown Asheville: River Arts District, craft breweries, Biltmore Estate, and vibrant energy • 5 minutes to Woodfin • 10 minutes to Weaverville’s charming shops & restaurants • Quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway — where fall foliage will take your breath away • Hiking trails, waterfalls, and mountain towns all waiting whenever you’re ready Your stay includes
High-speed WiFi • Central air conditioning & heat • Free parking (2 gravel spaces) • Washer & dryer • Self check-in with lockbox • Exterior security cameras Important note on wildlife: This is a quiet rural retreat on a wooded lot where black bears, turkeys, deer, and other wildlife are part of the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. We follow best practices (secure trash, no feeding wildlife). Please keep food inside, supervise children and pets near the pond, and maintain a respectful distance from any animals. Simple precautions make these encounters safe and memorable.

Other Details to Note

This is an awesome little property right outside of downtown Asheville. The house was clean, had a full kitchen (the host even provided some water bottles which were awesome for our hikes!), bed was very comfortable, and the living room was great for just reading and hanging out. I would totally book here again on another trip! There were no major issues at the property. It was wonderful. The only thing I will say is there are going be some insects hanging around but it’s in the middle of the forest and completely expected. It did not subtract from our experience and it shouldn’t subtract from yours!
